Review: Garnier Skin Active Hydra Bomb Tissue Masks

You know some times you feel so lazy that it feels like someone has drained your energy, well I can say because I am unemployed and has nothing to do. I am huge fan of sheet masking and sheet masking actually does wonders to your skin but for those who actually use them more often or does actually care about their skin. The Garnier Pakistan has finally introduced the most wanted and popular skincare product which is Tissue masks
, mostly known as sheet mask. I was super excited when I first hear that we are going to have sheet mask locally available in Pakistan now and they were actually on my waiting list but amazingly it ended up as a PR mail for which I am very thankful that I got a chance to try it sooner for you guys.

I got two masks from Garnier Pakistan which includes the hydrating replenishing mask and hydrating rebalancing mask. I like the overall concept of these sheet masks especially I think they are great for summer as they have light weight serum.

My THOUGHTS

Starting with the packaging I love the packaging it looks attractive. I have to say the silver plastic packaging makes it look more luxurious. These mask are made of 100 percent cellulose fibers and the mask is basically white it’s self which is not too thin nor too thick. For the fit I heard a lot of complains but I think it is fixable because on the side of chin they have given the cut which you can adjust according to your chin and face shape, basically you have to pull it upward towards the ear to adjust the fit. It came with another sheet which is a blue tissue kind of material and to be honest that does not help in applying it on face, As the blue tissue sheet also have the serum in it I used it all over my neck and hands and then dispose it off. The serum of both mask itself is light weight, a bit tacky and transparent in color. I applied it for 15-18 minutes and gently massage and pad the remaining serum on the face. The serum of both are similar in texture which are light weight and tiny bit tacky. It does have a little bit of essence left in the packet which you can used on your body. It absorbs nicely into the skin. The skin feels soft and hydrated for sure and it does sooth the skin as well. I love the immediate result of both mask.

About the scent the Pomegranate mask (replenishing mask) has an artificial fresh pomegranate scent which is not over whelming.

The green tea extract sheet mask which is the reblancing mask has a light herbal scent to it.

Garnier Hydrating Reblancing Tissue Mask Instructions and Ingredients 

The Reblancing mask is recommended for oily to combination skin, I have a combination skin which is sensitive and acne prone as well so I was excited about this one more because it has a green tea extract which are great for acne prone skin as well. I don’t what happen at first I love how it makes my skin, I wear it before applying on my makeup which is a common thing. It feels so light and hydrating but after 1 hour it makes my skin looks worst like my makeup is breaking down and it’s like a worst thing could happen to me as I was outside with my best friends which I have been meeting after 5-6 months and one of friend told me that my base makeup is looking mess, thank god I have a cushion with me which rescued me. Okay after I came home I got tiny pimple all over chin area which could be hormonal problem as well or because of my bad diet but it does nothing good for my skin in simple words.

I will rate the reblancing mask 6/10.

Garnier Hydrating Replenishing Tissue Mask Instructions and Ingredients 

After 2 days I tried Replenishing mask one as I thought maybe it will work for me so for this again I like the way my skin feel super refreshing , plump and tiny bit brighter after removing it. The only difference in both mask was that it feel a little bit slimy.It is recommended for dehydrated skin and we do have more dehydrated skin in summers. After using it, It does sooth down the reaction area for few minutes but afterward the area seems to be same but it does hydrate the skin.so basically it does work for what it claims.

I will rate the replenishing mask 8/10.

Over all I like the hydrating replenishing mask more than the hydrating rebalancing mask I don’t know whether the humid weather break me out but if you are giving it a try don’t use it before applying makeup try to use them before going to bed. If you are think they are going to work wonder on your skin it’s not for you.
