Review: Benton Papaya D Sun Cream SPF38 / PA+++

Benton Papaya D Sun Cream Review

You guys know I love sun screens and I can’t insist more to you guys that how much important it is for you. If you want to have a youthful skin for a longer time you better start using it from today.
 Even though I am unemployed (nothing to brag about) and stayed at home most of the time I still use sunscreen every day. The monsoon season has started in Pakistan and I don’t whether to hate it or love it because I lover rain but I hate humidity after the rain stop which is enough to kill a person like me! But still I have been going pretty good with the skincare and have been using sunscreen daily.

Recently Benton has launched its first sun screen which is called ‘Benton’s Papaya D-Sun Cream’. I have been selected as one of the lucky testers to review this products for which I am very thankful to Benton. I really wanted to try this new sunscreen because I know Benton makes one of the best skincare products using natural resources. Sad thing is that I have to pay custom for the small parcel which is so unusual and it happens to first time. I don’t know what’s the deal with DHL I have got the giant boxes from them before and haven’t paid a cent but here I have paid 12$ for a 20$ product which to be honest I wouldn’t mind until the products works for me.

I wasn’t aware of the story behind the Benton, it is actually interesting and after knowing it I have more respect for them now because you can guess my intelligence from my blog name.

ABOUT BENTON

Benton Papaya D Sun Cream Review

Benton Story ‘Benton’ is inspired by and named after the movie’ The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. In the movie, Benjamin has no choice but to leave his love, Daisy as he becomes younger. What if Daisy could also turn back time on her physical appearance, wouldn’t she be happier? It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn’t most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton desires to restore your skin back to its original, healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Also, Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production.

MY THOUGHTS

Benton Papaya D Sun Cream Review

Starting with the packaging it came in a white- glossy plastic tube with the sturdy silver metal shielded cap. Just like most sunscreen this one you also have the squeeze to get the product but it has a nozzle shape which helps to control the amount of the product. One thing I love about the sunscreen is that its packaging it is super travel friendly and it took one twist to secure it back which is a huge plus point from me because I mostly put product on the back of my hand before applying it on the face and usually it falls down but here it take 2 seconds to secure the product.

Papaya D sun cream contains the 50g of product which is pretty standard size for the sun screens. It is cruelty free and can be used 12 months after opening.

This is my first time using the papaya containing sunscreen and I actually enjoyed it .and As a name suggest it is sun cream so it is creamy in consistency, It feels super smooth in Texture does feel in between light and heavy but in humid weather it feels bit heavy, on the other hand it’s not like usual sun creams which just suffocate your skin, it because it also moisturized as it contains papaya seed oil, and oils like jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, juniperus communis fruit oil, lime oil and lemon fruit oil.

It does feel hydrating when applied and keeps skin moisturized throughout the day. The sun cream feels sticky but if you keep on applying it throughout the day it does become a little bit sticky.It is off white in color. It does have a white cast when applied but it fades away after few minutes.It has a scent a nice tropical scent to it, I would call it a mixture of papaya and coconut oil.

I love this sun cream finish, it has a glossy/ dewy Korean finish, which might be not ideal for everyone and it is definitely not what I would have picked 6 months back as my skin was terrible and I think matte finish is the best option for acne prone skin but now it is way better than before as I get to know my skin and which ingredients breaks me out. I actually get compliments when I was wearing it only which is very rare tin my case.it like a sun cream which I will say that it’s my skin but better. I think people with the dull skin will love it.

This is going to be my winter sunscreen for sure. Even though I still using it on daily basis as I stay at home and I don’t need a high SPF therefore I think it a great sunscreen for me right now. I have been testing Benton Papaya D sun cream for 6 days now and I have an acne prone/ sensitive skin and I haven’t notice any breakout or irritation.

RECOMMENDATION

I will recommend this Benton sunscreen to the people who spend their most time indoor like office and home as the SPF is not that high and it will get pretty heavy if applied several time. I thinks it’s perfect for the people with the dull Skin which lacks suppleness, dry skin as it provides moisture to the skin as well and for the people who loves glowy/dewy skin. Definitely I see myself using this sunscreen in winter.
