Review: Lemiu Blend The Mood Tint

Lemiu_blend_the_mood_tint

Today, I am going to be reviewing another new lip tints from the Korean brand Lemiu. I love Korean lip tints personally and every brand is coming out with its own innovative and unique shades which make them stand out.

LEMIU

Lemiu is a Korean Cosmetic brand and from my research, they have renewed the brand and I have to say the brand now has a more aesthetic vibe to it. Lemiu describes these lip tints as a Weightless Blending and Soft Sensation.

LEMIU BLEND THE MOOD TINT

The Lemiu tints provide the Fresh and soft blending fit, they provide inspiration to enrich your look with five plain color plays.

PACKAGING

These tints came in sturdy off-white plastic packaging which has a sleek and aesthetic feel to it. You get the straight doe-foot applicator with these Lemiu lip tints.

INGREDIENTS

Dimethicone, dimethicone crosspolymer, diisostearyl malate, Tribehenin, caprylyl methicone, polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, poly glyceryl-2 diisostearate, sorbitan isostearate, HDI/trimethylolhexyllactone crosspolymer, polyhydroxystearic acid, dimethicone/vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, tocopheroI acetate, ethylhexyl palmitate, isopropyl myristate, isostearic acid, lecithin, poly Glyceryl-3 polyricinoleate, silica, dehydroacetic acid, fragrance, linalool, limonene, Red No. 103(1) (CI 45380), Yellow No. 4 (CI 19140), Red No. 202 (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Red No. 201 (CI 15850)

I find the ingredients list from the Naver.

FORMULATION AND FINISH

For the formulation, these Lemiu tints are quite unique the formula is lightweight, moisturizing, and has an airy feeling and finish at the same time. These Lemiu Blend mood tints have a velvety and airy finish to them, they are not transfer-proof but they leave a tint behind and do not transfer that much. You can feel the silicone in the
formulation. Yes, they do provide a blurry effect to the lips as well.

The layering can make the formulation more slippery but you can use a tissue to remove that and your tint will look perfect and stays put under the mask ever. I love how soft and natural look the one swipe of this tint gives.

SHADES AND COLOR PAYOFF

These Lemiu tints came in five different shades. The shades are not too much pigmented and bright as usually Korean tints are, they are more muted as compare to others yet you can build up these lip tints to some extent to get the bright and full coverage.

I love how you can layer these which can change the color but the formulation and finish stay the same.

Lea: It is a beautiful red shade that most skin tones can pull off.
Jaenne: It is a mixture of soft cherry red and pink.
Aveline: It is a peachy burnt orange shade.
Lucie: It is orange-brown with a hint of beige to it.
Yvonne: it is a dry rose, mauve pink which is tone down but a beautiful shade.

SWATCHES

I have layered them thrice to get an extra color payoff in the shown swatches.

SIZE, SCENT AND PRICE

You get 4.5 g of product in the tube. They have a lovely citrusy floral scent to them which is not overwhelming. Each tint cost 19.56 USD on Beauty Box Korea but if you are in Korea it is available on sale for 12 USD on Naver shopping site.

OVERALL PERFORMANCE

I have to say that it is better to exfoliate the dead skin and moisturize even though these lip tints are moisturizing. Lemiu lip tints last on me for 5 - 7 hours which is a pretty good time for airy- velvety finish tints. Honestly, I personally love all of these shades Lemiu has introduced so far and can’t pick any favorites because I love them all equally.
