You guys know I am a huge fan of cica care products and this is my first from Dr.Jart so let's find out how i like it.

Herbs Complex (Houttuynia Cordata, Yarrow, and Resurrection Plant) + Chlorophyll: It protects and supports the skin’s barrier.
Botanical Complex: Which protects skin from environmental stressors.
So ingredients are not ideal at all, I don’t know why such a big brand has to use PEG and essential oils and you can actually find the PEG on the top ingredients of the list. Here is the Cosdna analysis on the ingredients list.

MY THOUGHTS

Starting with the packaging, Dr.Jart Cicapair Night Repair Mask came in a plastic box and you get the 30 sachet inside it which contains the fresh cica goodness. Each square shaped sachet contains 3ml of product which is more than enough for using once, sometimes I can use 1 sachet twice. The packaging is overall beautiful, giving beautiful pink and green vibes.

Now Let’s talks about the thing that I don’t like at all is related to the packaging, I have used sachet sleeping mask before but this one has a real headache as it takes a lot of time to get the product out because of the small opening and the texture of the mask is pretty thick so to me the sachet opening does not compliment with the Cicapair Night Repair Mask.

The Dr.jart Cica Mask has a light green color to it with the thick consistency which is more on the balm side. The texture is basically a balm gel like. The Cica Repair Sleeping mask does have a citrusy scent to it with the hint of an herbal as well which I personally like quite a lot. It does not absorb easily into the skin and leaves a sheen on the skin after application, after 5-10 minutes the mask seems to settle well into the skin. It does create a layer of a barrier on your skin which I don’t mind as it’s a sleeping mask. I don’t like to layer too much at once as my skin feels suffocate and this one a little goes a long way. I personally like to take a small amount which covers my whole face and pat gently and once it seems like it is absorbed a little I applied again. The Dr.Jart Cica Mask does not feel tacky on the skin. In the morning the skin seems pretty nice, it does reduce the redness as it claims and moisturizes and protect the skin barrier as well. The skin feels supple and a little bright as well.

It is good for soothing and calming your skin and if you have redness problem but I think there are many similar products available which have better ingredients and are cheap. Overall i do like it but it's not in my HG category yet. I am looking forward to trying the other product from the Cicapair line of Dr.Jart.

I am not sure but I think the Dr.Jart is changing the formulation or the packaging of this Cicapair Night Repair because it is out of stock everywhere so hopefully, the renewal one is better.

You can buy the Dr. Jart Products from Jolse also if you haven’t checked my review on Cosrx Low pH centella cleansing powder make sure to check it as well.
