Review: Aqulabo Jelly Mist and Oh! Very Bright Mask

Its been a week and I'm still sick but I thought I have to post this review ASAP. When you think you have posted the review long ago but it’s still sitting in your folder and honestly, I am feeling so guilty right now for not sharing this beautiful new Korea Skincare brand with you guys sooner. Today I will be reviewing two products from the new Korean Skincare brand called 'Aqulabo'.

As a name says the concept of the brand is Aqua+ Laboratory and Aqulabo came in existence in 2018.By adding to a decade of R&D from sister brand Elkurn, Aqulabo studies and explores skin hydration using natural ingredients that are EWG green grade. It is a cruelty-free brand
One of the most famous comedian Park Na Rae has also tested the Aqulabo products on Jtbc beauty show called ‘My Mad Beauty’ and was quite impressed.

MY THOUGHTS

It came in a transparent plastic spray bottle and is available in 50ml and 200ml packaging. This Aqulabo Jelly Mist is one of its kind and I haven’t seen anything like this before like gel turns into the lightweight mist in seconds. I love the texture of it and it makes this mist really unique because when you see it in the packaging you are like it’s going to be thick and oily for sure but really it’s totally opposite to what it looks. The Jelly mist is lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin. It feels really refreshing and soothing at the same time, it does calm down the skin and hydrates it without sitting on the skin.

This is one of those mist where you do not know when to stop spraying because it feels so good, it does not leave a residue or feel sticky at all. The more i apply it the more my skin feels hydrated. I do like to use it before masking but I think the Jelly mist by Aqulabo is itself really good. The Jelly mist has a very mild scent which fades in a few seconds. Overall it’s a really nice and hydrating mist which gently exfoliate the skin at the same time.

AQULABO OH! VERY BRIGHT MASK

The Aqulabo Oh! Very Bright Mask brightens and evens out skin tone and texture with EWG green grade ingredients and hypoallergenic Air Fit sheet mask that's gentle on the skin.
Along with skin-loving powerhouse ingredients Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, and Licorice Root Extract, this mask is formulated with "Gomisin N," that comes from Omija (magnolia berry) extract which has been traditionally used in Korea as tea for glowing skin and found to have 60 times more targeted brightening effect on skin compared to Arbutin.

Water, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Propanediol, Betaine, Allantoin, Centella Asiatica Extract, Polygonum Cuspidatum Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Schisandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Chlorphenesin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Carbomer 940, Arginine.

This mask has 100% EG green graded ingredients, here is the list.

MY THOUGHTS

The Oh my bright mask came in aesthetically pleasing silver and white packaging and you get the 25ml of product in each mask. The mask came well soaked in gel-like essence which becomes quite runny once you touched it. The texture is pretty similar to the Jelly mist one. There was quite a lot of essence left which I used on my face after applying the mask on to get the maximum results also I always make sure to spray the Aqulabo Jelly Mist before applying this and as its summer I always put my masks in Fridge before applying them for soothing effect and this one does feel amazing. The mask has a mild herbal scent to it.

I have dry skin right now as I am using a treatment so I have noticed that it does start to dry down on my forehead area after 10 minutes but I keep it on for 15 minutes and it mask still has quite a lot of essence which I rub around my body. The mask again does not leave any residue or feel tacky, it absorbs instantly. The Very Bright mask by Aqulabo leaves the skin hydrated, moisturized and brighter and it reduces the redness and appearance dark spots as well.

This Duo leaves the skin bright and supple Overall, it does not break me out or cause any irritation.

Love both products as Duo they work really good but hands down to both products, Jelly mist and Oh! Very bright mask because these two are definitely one of the best products I have tried in 2019 for sure.

Both products are Available at Bemused Korea, RoseRoseshop and Aqulabo official site.
