Innisfree My Drop Tone Down Blender Review

Hi guys today I will reviewing the product you will love because if you are not fair as Korean beauty standard and are addicted to K-Beauty like me you will thank me. I love cushion foundation and sometimes I get some nice shades I can work with but that does not happen always so. Innisfree introduce My Drops last year and they are basically are customized drops for the makeup so one can chose according to their skin type and want.

INNISFREE MY DROP

Innisfree My Drop

The Innisfree My drop which came in six different types so you can customize your foundation and makeup on your own, I choose the Tone down blender which I needed because some of Korean cushion I don’t reach because of their light shades so I give this one a try. For those who are curious about the drops these are some of options.
Water Moisture: To moisturize the skin and to make the foundation look overall nice.
Oil Moisture: To moisturize the skin before makeup, can apply it on the lips as well as a makeup base.
Volume Glow: For glowy beautiful skin, can be used as a base makeup or with foundation or to highlight the face.
Mattifying: will help with the makeup to stay on and also helps in controlling the oil and sebum.
Tone Up Blender: For natural highlighter and to tone up the foundation shade.
Tone Down Blender: for contouring and to tone down your foundation color.

MY THOUGHTS

Innisfree My Drop Tone Down Blender Review

Starting with the packaging, it came in a frosted glass with the dropper to dispense out the product. You get the 14 ml of the product which for the customized makeup product is I think is fine.

Innisfree My Drop came with the dropper

If you have tan skin, that can be your foundation color, seriously I was expecting it to a little darker but sadly it is not that dark. The consistency of this tone down blender drops is quite liquidy and what I have noticed that the formulation is towards the moisturizing side and it’s not that pigmented, to change the color of my light foundations I use 2-3 drops and it contains only 14ml of product which I will say is pretty decent. What surprise me is that it is not cool tone and more of neutral shade which is rare in Korean beauty world maybe because it is tend to tone down your foundation shade as well and maybe it is because it is going to be used to change the foundation shade. Remember to hold the dropper for 2-3 seconds so can the the right amount of product in the dropper.

It blends nicely with the foundations and does not look weird at all, the formula also does not seem to effect the overall foundation finish, it does not oxidized any further and stay the same shade you have created. I have use it as a contour shade and It works pretty goodly and provides the natural contouring.

BLENDING TEST

it blends pretty goodly with the foundations and bb cream

Overall it does its job pretty good and I hope that came with the darker version because again this My drop tone down blender is not for the people with the darker skin or even for the medium skin tone. I recommend if for the people who have fair to fair-medium skin type, the formulation is not bad, it’s just different from what I have expected but it good and it’s a great steal for the price you are getting for.
