Review: Cosrx Sebum Centella Mineral Powder

Cosrx is one of the most favorite and popular Kbeauty brand around the world, they are well known for their clean and mild products. I love quite a lot of products from the Cosrx especially their snail essence. So they release some great products and one of them which caught my attention is their Centella Mineral powder, you guys know how big I am a fan of a Centella Asiatica containing products so I have to try it.

COSRX SEBUM CENTELLA MINERAL POWDER

It claims to control the excess oil secretion without skin drawing, makes the skin looks super smooth and does not dry out the skin moisture itself, does not crease and makes your makeup last all day. This Cosrx mineral powder can be used as a makeup fixer, dry shampoo and deodorant. Centella Asiatica & Rose Hip Extract mild formula allows even sensitive and dry skin to use safely.

Overall the ingredient list is very nice and you can find more information about the ingredients here.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Rosa Canina Fruit Extract: It is an extract of wild rose seeds which are a natural source of vitamin c and it helps in moisturizing healing and also fights against wrinkles.

Centella Asiatica Extract: Great for sensitive skin, helps in moisturize and calm down the skin and protect the skin.

Mentha Arvensis Leaf Extract: helps in soothing the skin, contains vitamin A which strengthen skin tissue and help to reduce the sebum.

MY THOUGHTS

I love the simple and sleek packaging of cosrx powder which is pastel green with the white cap, it has similar packaging like the Innisfree mineral powder, it came in loose powder form and has a mini puff for the application and a stopper with the holes to get the powder out and you get the 5g of total product.

It does not keep the sebum for a long time and your skin starts to become oily after 3-4 in the hot and humid weather, does not feel dry or patchy at all and it has a white cast so if you apply in an excess amount it can be seen. It is basically a transparent powder which is very finely mild and feels really soft and smooth on the skin, give a matte finish and helps in smoothing out the pores a little bit and it does not feel heavy or suffocating on the skin. It does fix the makeup nicely but not good at holding the sebum so you have to touch up after every 4 hours. It also really helps in soothing my skin and reducing the redness of my skin.

Overall it is a nice product but I need to try it more and as its winter I can’t tell much but it works pretty good as a dry shampoo and I am actually loving it as a dry shampoo. It came in my top three and overall for setting powder it is a really nice daily use powder with the great ingredients. I think is very good for people with sensitive skin and that is a reason why I like it as it does not irritate the skin or cause me any acne.

This is available at Jolse. Do let me know if you have tried it yet or not?
