MILIMAGE BRAND REVIEW 

If you guys have been reading my reviews for a long time you will notice that I love Makeup as much as I love Skincare. The concept of the Milimage is amazing and it attracts me a lot as Milimage stands for “Makeup Minimalism”. Milimage products are simple, easy to use and compact which you can toss easily into your bag and very convenient as the products are multi-purpose and you can create your own pouch by choosing your favorite products.
The Milimage philosophy as we own a lot of makeup but we only reach for few which they pack into their compacts with the smart choice simple makeup, playful color pacts and multiple fun as all pacts have the magnet at their back so you can make you perfect makeup pouch by join them together and adding mirror and comb like extra essentials.

Just want to mentioned that one of my favorite Idol Soohyun from Akdong Musician, which has a most sweetest voice actually also runs her own Youtube Beauty channel by the name mochi peach also mention the Milimage beauty pouch.

I have been testing it for quite some time now but I have tested gel pact and I thought it was better to test it in summers so I did it now and here is my whole review on Milimage products a review finally. The first product I am going to talk about is Milimage Glue skin base.

MILIMAGE GLUE SKIN BASE

It has SPF 35 PA++ and also function as UV blocking, Whitening and wrinkle care.

Moisture coating starter that makes skin toned and fresh as if you put on facial mask before makeup. It moisturize the skin and adhere makeup well to the skin. It gives a radiant finish to the skin. It claims to act as anti-dry cream as it contains rose hip oil which helps in preventing the dryness and makes skin smooth.

MY THOUGHTS

The Milimage glue skin base has a beautiful yet simple packaging, it came a tube form packaging where it has a light pearly-pink plastic tube with the metallic blue cap and came with the 40ml of product.The Mililmage glue skin base itself is light pink in color without any shimmer in it and the texture is more on a cream side and it does feel a little bit tacky but When blends into the skin it really feels hydrating and moisturizing and does not feel tacky or sticky.

Glue skin base blends very easily into the skin and feels just like any moisturizer but it leave the skin glowy and fresh.The glue skin base does not give a white cast but it does make your skin look more supple and bright. It has mild floral scent to it. When i apply it my makeup stays on quite well, the dryness and patches feels less visible and i have to agree on the fact that it actually makes your skin looks like you just takes off the mask, it feels moisturized, hydrating, skin looks bright, glowy and firm.

 It does not work very well in hiding the pores but does not prominent them either but overall it does reduce the texture of the skin and makes a smooth canvas. I am not sure how exactly hours it can hold my makeup but it overall it does its job pretty well. I mostly wear it when my skin is looking tired or when my skin needs a little extra care. A little goes long way I use half of a pea size and i need i take out a lit bit again but if you use it more in quantity it can actually make your makeup cakey especially in summers, so it is always better to start with small amount and then built it up rather than using excess amount of product which will do no good and can be too much for your skin to handle.

overall it’s a great makeup base which can makes my skin look fresh and does not break me out and makes my makeup stay in place all day long.

MILIMAGE POWDERY GEL PACT

Aqua gel pact that moisturizes skin with soft and smooth finish. It has SPF 37 PA++

MY THOUGHTS

Milimage powdery gel pact came is beautiful pastel mint, squarish shape pact which is actually a tension pact. It also have a mirror in it like any other pact.

It came in two shades shade #21 which is vital beige and 23# which is calm beige. I got the Shade #23 calm beige because I can work with that one mostly 21 is way pale for me. It came with the square shaped silicone puff which has pretty smooth surface and has triangle shape textured silicone on the side which helps in blending and tilting the sponge to apply on area where it is hard and overall it can blend product nicely. The problem I have with this pact is that the mesh seems to be a bit loose. 

The product itself seems like a mousse gel formula to me which provide satin to matte finish. The color is pretty neutral again not too pink or yellow so many people can work with it. Let’s be honest I think the actual foundation works better with the air puff or foundation brush rather than the silicone puff it came with. It can last on its own for 3-5 hours but definitely one has to do touch ups though out the day. The sad thing that the both products I have is recommended with pore balm which I don’t have so maybe using with them makes them work way better. The finish is bit powdery but i would rather called it satin finish depending on your base.

 Milimage powdery gel pact has mild floral powdery scent and does not feel heavy on the skin. I like to wear it in summers as it has more kind of powdery formula and work nicely and adhere well to the skin. It provides light to medium coverage and can be buildable, the formula feels hydrated yet light on the skin.

SWATCHES

 Overall it is nice compact foundation which will be perfect for spring and summers even though the oily skin type people can also use it in winter as well as powdery gel pact does not cake up but setting it up is better for longevity of the makeup.

MILIMAGE FACE CONTOUR CEALER

Perfect contour pact featuring highlighter, concealer, blusher and shade in one.

MY THOUGHTS

The Face contour cealer is sleek and slim compact with the mirror and magnetic closure, if you have a perfect skin this is going to enough as it got all the products cover which makes me love it much more from concealer to blush to highlighter to contour it got everything in it which can give you a complete look. You can say it is a mini compact palette with all face makeup essentials. You don't get much of a product and the pans are pretty small so i like to use my fingers mostly, except for the concealer but even with the finger it applies pretty goodly. It has a nice sweet floral scent to it. This pact really reminds me of my 3CE Studio Face Tuning Concealer Palette.

HIGHLIGHTER (TOP LEFT)

The first one is the highlighter which is a beautiful champagne pink in color with a little shimmer in it. It gives a really pretty glossy finish to the skin. It has a light weight balm formula .It shoes up more neutral and does brighten the skin which makes it more neutral as it does not have any tint to it. I just wish that it have more fine shimmer even though it is pretty fine and tiny but i like my highlighter very subtle and it does enhance the texture of the skin a little bit which is not a good thing.

BLUSHER (TOP RIGHT)

It has a gel balm kind of light weight formula which looks cherry red in pan but in actual gives a beautiful subtle tint to the cheeks, even I have tried it on my lips and I like it as it blends easily but I am not sure about its longevity.

SHADING (BOTTOM LEFT)

If you like cool tone contours you will love it. I like it personally because I am more into cool tone contours and I think it makes a perfect contour for nose and eye area even if you like warm tone contours. The formulation of this one is more gel type than concealer and it blends easily, looks natural and i am digging it more than any other contour lately. I really wish they also introduce the duo of concealer and contour separately as they are winner in my list.

I love this concealer so much for many reasons, first it has a nice neutral undertone to it which is hard to find sometimes as mostly when brands make multi-purpose products they go for salmon color concealers which are good for under eyes but they are not usable to correct or hide the imperfections but this I use hide my all spots and scars including dark circles. The concealer is suitable for the shade 21-23 range. It looks more yellow tone in a pan for some reason but it is pretty much neutral. the coverage is from medium to full and its creamy, it blends easily, it something about its formula which I will define as a creamy gel formula that it does not feel heavy on the skin, it does not look cakey and Definitely it is favorite from this compact/ palette. Make sure to set it with powder to make it last for long time as it is a cream formula it can crease easily.

SWATCHES

All of the products are buildable and easy to work with overall I really like Milimage Face Contour Cealer and will definitely recommend it for the people who don’t have much time and travel a lot, as it is compact which works.

I also got the mirror and comb which helps in attaching the two compacts together.
