Lately I have been doing more skincare related posts which I love but there are so many makeup products which I want to share with you guys so today I will be doing some makeup review which were in my folder for more than 5 months. So today I am going to compare the two products which are pretty famous while one is high end and one is drugstore brand.
By comparing these together I am not saying that they are dupe or so but I want you to choose which one you would like to have, it’s just a comparison not a dupe post so just a alert for those who are looking for dupe. As these both have the same concept that trio thing which is becoming very common and I really like the concept. Both of them contains the powder formulation and contains bronzer, highlighter and blush as a trio palette so let’s dig into the further details.

In terms of ingredients the Urban decays scores 95 percent and MUR 86 in the terms of safe ingredients. Both of them does not contain any harmful ingredients but the MUR contains a Methylparaben which is used for fragrance and preservative and is a moderate ingredient as it used to prevent the growth of microorganisms in products but it can cause allergies. 

PACKAGING

Starting with the packaging the packaging looks super sturdy, it’s pretty heavy and it has magnetic closure so definitely it looks luxurious and has a big nice mirror with it, it feels luxurious from the packaging a compare to the MUR Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit which came in a cheap plastic packaging which is black and transparent.

MUR one has a see through top cover so you can actually see the shades and it has tiny strip of mirror as well, in a case you are wondering. I know I shouldn’t have used the word cheap as it’s not that bad but mine breaks after 1 day like when I open it,  it literally broke from the closure side which I glued again and still its so lose. The setting of shades are similar in both products starting with the bronzer, highlighter and ended with the blush. The Urban Decay Naked Flushed does not have the partition between the shades while MUR Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit has a separate partition for all three so that they don’t blend together or they don’t crumble together which I personally prefer.
In terms of size and weight the Urban Decay palette contains the 14g of product while MUR palette contains 11g.

FORMULATION

Urban Decay Naked Flushed and Makeup Revolution Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit Formulation

The formation is very different it’s just two opposite products in this case as the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette does have a very very finely milled powders like and they feels soft and they have nice amount of pigmentation, the blush is the on which is super pigmented so you can go wrong with that easily. The bronzer and highlighter are pigmented but not as much as blush. Now I get it why they added it this product in the naked line as it gives nice pigmentation which blends into the skin amazingly and does feel super light on the skin and gives a natural look.
MUR Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit on the other hand has also nicely milled powder which are as pigmented as the Urban Decay one or I should say they are actually more pigmented than it. The formulation seems more like a cream to powder especially the highlighter was pretty creamy and smooth in texture. It is something I would say you can create more dramatic look with as compare to the Urban Decay one. The highlighter is super pigmented like it’s literally better than many expensive highlighters in MUR kit and blush is more pigmented in the case of Urban Decay palette.
Talking about fallout, there is a little bit fallout when it comes to MUR Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit.


Urban Decay is 100% cruelty-free while Makeup Revolution is Vegan, Cruelty Free and Gluten Free.

SHADES

Urban Decay Naked Flushed 

The Urban Decay Naked Flushed palette came in 6 different shades. 

The Urban Decay shades can be describes as;

Bronzer: neutral tone bronzer with the slightly bit of gold shimmer. (Satin finish) definitely not a matte as mentioned on their official website.
Highlighter: finely milled subtle peachy-champagne shimmer highlighter.
Blusher: highly pigmented, matte bright coral with the hit of orange color.

MUR kits shades can be described as;
Bronzer: matte bronzer with the hint of pink in it.

If you calculate the money I think you can get the 6 MUR palettes for the one Urban Decay palette.

OVERALL

I am not going be biased here because I really wanted to put it up to guys as I really like both of them. In fact that I don’t use the blush from MUR as a blush because the shimmery blushes makes the pores look larger but I personally love that shade and use it on my eyes. Both of the palette are nice if you more of a natural/dewy makeup person both can do the job but I think for beginners it will be easy to work with the Urban Decay Naked and Makeup Revolution kit can do that job as these both have different shades i think one can chose which one she/he needs or you can get both.If your budget is limited get the Makeup Revolution one and I am sure you will not be disappoint.
