 Hi Guys today I am going to talk be about some skincare technology , as we know there are thousands of skincare devices selling through out the globe and some works and some didn’t but these devices have make a huge change in our skincare routine as it makes the process easy and fast and more accurate. Today I am going to be reviewing the product from the Korean brand called Leegeehaam previously known as Leejiham (LJH) Cosmetics.
I will be reviewing the Leegeehaam ion enhancer and wannabe fit masks so this post is going to bit longer but I promise, it is pretty informative so you will enjoy it.

I will be discussing the Leegeehaam Deep & Quick Ion Enhancer which is an electrical device which doubles the benefit of your sheet masking but before getting into the device details I will like give you guys a little bit more information about iontophoresis.

ABOUT SKIN IONTOPHORESIS

Iontophoresis is a safe medical/physical procedure that involves sending mild electrical currents through water/ liquid into the skin. It was first introduced by Pirati to treat the arthritis in the 1740s. In this process the mild direct current is used with the positive and negative ions which permit into the skin and tissues, pores and sweat glands are used as a pathway and charges repel each other so that the drug can be pushed into the skin. It improves the absorbency of the skin to the applied ingredients. It helps the product and ingredients to absorb more efficiently and quickly into the skin. It is basically a process which delivers the drug/ingredients to your skin without having the pain of needle injections or any infection resulting from them. It is use by dermas as a nourishment treatment in the facial treatments.

Deep & Quick Ion Enhancer is a home beauty care device based on iontophoresis technology. It is used with facial masks to enhance penetration of active ingredients contained inside the mask deep into the skin, providing the optimal result with a radiant and healthy complexion.

Iontophoresis technology, Micro current emitted from the metal places circulates the active ingredients around and deep inside the skin for quicker and deeper infusion.

PACKAGING

It came in giant box while you can see it being displayed on the transparent plastic with the battery cell. I does not have any charging device one just simple have to put battery cell into the device to use. It also came with the manual which has directions in Korean as well in English which I really appreciate. The device is designed to be used easily at home so I personally like the hairband concept. The electrodes are attach to the both end of hair band which have comb teeth so it can be easily stuck into the hairs. To be honest it really looks like headphones and I would say that that it is pretty delicate device as it can be break easily so one has to take care of it. The body is made of white plastic and one side of the electrode has a battery insertion and logo of Leegeehaam while other one has a LED light which changes to the three different intensities. The intensity level changes every time you heard the press and heard he beep sound. At the starting (when you on the device) and at the end (when you off the device) the beep sound will be longer. To change the intensity you have to click every time.

Here is the details of the intensities and for which skin type which intensity is ideal.

Blue LED (the lowest intensity) is for sensitive skin types.
Purple LED (the medium intensity) for dry skin types.
Red LED (the highest intensity) for oily skin types.
If you are using it for the first time I will recommend to use it at the low intensity to check your skin sensitivity to the device. A little bit of tingling is normal.

HOW I USE IT

After cleansing and applying toner I simple take out the Wannabe fit sheet mask and place it on my face and then I take the ion enhancer and place it wear it , the way we wear hairband and place the electrodes on my checks. Once I fixed the device, I press the button for 2 seconds to on it and adjust according to my skin condition as I have oily/sensitive skin I use the blue or red light and wait for 20 minutes, after which the device automatically turns off and then I simple take the device off and clean the electrodes with the dry cloth or tissue paper and remove the mask and pat the extra essence into the face and neck.

MY THOUGHTS

Wannabe fit masks are especially designed to use with the ion enhancer, I used it with them and I totally love the results. I like the design of the device, it is really easy and convenient to use, and you can easily replace the battery without the worries of charging. What I love the most is the hair band has the comb teeth so it really stay still so you can easily do you work. And you can use it daily. It’s my first time trying the Iontophoresis device and really enjoyed it really makes the skin brighter and healthier. Whenever I use it with sheet mask it’s like I have done a skin treatment. Skin seriously feels really fresh and supple. It does have a little bit of tingling sensation but it’s worth it. Over all I really like it but it is very fragile device so I needs a lot of care but it is something that I will suggest you guys to try especially with their wannabe fit masks.

MY THOUGHTS

It has a light herbal/tea tree scent to it. This mask contains the 33ml of essence which is quite a lot so I used it all over arms and legs as well. The fit of the mask itself is nice but it is a bit loose from the mouth area and it is cupra sheet which contains more essence and helps it to deliver more efficiently to the skin. The mask came soaked well I essence which is pretty thick and rich, gel like in consistency.it is transparent, non-sticky and absorbs in to the skin and gives a dewy finish. I used the red light with the green fit mask which is meant for oily skin and is the intense level. My skin does feel the tingling as it is the highest level but after few minutes my skin get used to it. The essence is pretty heavy so I use it mostly it as night time plus I have read that it’s better to not wear makeup after doing iontophoresis for at least 6-8 hours so I will recommend it to use it at night even though the intensity of this one is not high but I like to do it this way. It applied it for 20 minutes with the ion enhancer on.

Okay so here are the results that I have noticed after using the green fit mask, my skin looks bright more supple. It really reduced the redness and skin texture and soothes out the skin. It also moisturize and hydrate the skin.

MY THOUGHTS

This also have a cupra sheet and as a green fit mask this one also contains ton of essence which I stored in little jar after applying it on hands and neck.it has honey scent to it. The essence itself is again pretty think and rich but takes more time to absorb than the green fit mask. The fit of the mask is okay and the essence is transparent, tacky and does not absorb easily. You have to pat the essence into the skin to absorb it otherwise it will leave an oily layer on the top of the skin. It gives a glossy/dewy finish. I applied it for 20 minutes with the ion enhancer device which automatically shut down after 20 minutes.
It feels moisturizing, hydrating, soothing and skin feels supple, bight and healthy plus it does rescue the appearance of skin texture and pores seems less visible. I like it more than the tea tree (green) fit mask. I used a red light which is for oily skin and is has the highest intensity.

Overall I really enjoyed the Leegeehaam ion enhancer and wannabe fit masks , I haven’t used the aqua fit mask yet but I will update and review that one on my instagram so make sure to follow me.
