Review: AXIS-Y Skincare Wash off Masks

Hi, Hope everyone is doing great Today, I will be sharing my thoughts on the new AXIS-Y products. As you guys know by now that I absolutely admire their products and have reviewed them on my blog as well. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin which is combination skin as well and if I have to recommend one brand to a similar skin type I think I will surely recommend the AXIS-Y products.

AXIS- Y MUGWORT PORE CLARIFYING WASH OFF PACK AND AXIS-Y NEW SKIN RESOLUTION GEL MASK

Today I will be reviewing their wash-off masks which I was dying to try for the past few months. Here are some similarities and important points about the masks by AXIS-Y masks. Both Wash Off masks by AXIS-Y came in a sealed outer box with a QR code on it which you check to see if you have got the original product. The masks Tubs also came with the sealing sticker as well and both AXIS-Y masks have the spatula with them, the Gel mask has a smaller spatula as compare to the mugwort mask. Both Masks are Vegan which means they are cruelty-free as well. These masks by AXIS-Y do not contain mineral oil, artificial fragrance, paraben, and artificial color.

This mask contains 61% Mugwort extract, this wash off pack unclog the pores, clears the pores of impurities, soothes inflamed and irritated skin, and Adzuki Bean granule gently exfoliates dead skin to reveal a bright and healthy complexion.

KEY INGREDIENTS

61% Mugwort (Artemisia Princeps) extract: It protects the skin from harmful oxygen, revitalizes it from damage, and soothes and cleanses the skin.

Phaseolus Angularis (Adzuki Bean) Seed powder: It gently removes dead skin cells.

MY THOUGHTS

Starting with the Packaging, the AXIS-Y Mugwort Pore Clarifying Wash Off Pack came In lovely sleek packaging in a tub form. You get the extra lid and spatula as well to make sure your mask does not leak and you get the product without creating the mess.

You get 100 ml of product for 22$, but it is on sale for 20$, which I think is pretty good for what this mask has to offer you.

As my skin is sensitive and I sweat a lot I get maskne very easily and this is something which really helps to calm my skin and gently exfoliate it as well, if you see the texture you will be like yeah here is another clay mask with some exfoliating stuff but trust me because it does not feel the same, it’s like a creamy texture with the soft mugwort particles which are not harsh and it does not dry in the way which makes you feel like your skin is plaster, it is one of the most comfortable masks even after drying. It has a refreshing herbal scent with the mugwort scent to it which is mild. The texture is quite thick and creamy t the same time, not like your ordinary clay masks. At my first time, I get really excited so I applied quite a lot of it but it does not give me any kind of reaction but it actually calms my skin and reduce my skin texture quite a lot, I love how it makes pores less visible and the skin does not feel tight or dry at all, it just feels clean and calm overall, I will highly suggest this mask to all skin types as It is just like a magical solution for your skin after a long day with oily and irritated skin. I will surely repurchase it in the future as well.

AXIS-Y NEW SKIN RESOLUTION GEL MASK

MY THOUGHTS

The AXIS-Y New Skin Resolution Gel Mask came in a sleek tub form as well and there is an extra lid and spatula as well. The tub seems to bigger in size but it holds 100ml of product just like a mugwort mask. The packaging of the tub is sturdy and somewhat see-through as well so you can see how much product is left. The gel mask retails for 23 $ on their Axis-Y official website.

It has an herbal, slightly sweet, and citrusy scent to it which is not overwhelming at all. It has a gel texture like aloe gel which feels lightweight and refreshing on application. The Heartleaf leaves do not have an exfoliation effect as they do not feel anything on the skin, These masks totally focus on the calming and brightening effect which actually works amazing, I use it mostly when after coming out of the sun or hot place. It really helps in calming and reduce the dullness at the same time. It really changes the skin temperature and after washing it off your skin looks brighter and calm including the acne and red spots. It also gives a moisturizing effect to the skin so for all the skin types it is a must-have, I think people with dry skin will also love it. I apply a thin layer of it for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. 

Overall both masks are absolutely amazing, n this humid and hot summer, my skin is loving them and thanks to them I can keep the maskne at bay as well. I will highly suggest these two masks to every skin type especially the people with acne-prone and sensitive skin, these will make your skin way better for sure. Honestly, both masks by Axis-Y are great for their own purposes and I will surely keep buying them in the future.
