MY THOUGHTS

I love the minimal and sleek packaging of Kosas products, the outer box is white with black printing on it. You get the black colored sleek compact which is square in shape. The Pact itself is lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap in any way. You get 9g of product in it, it came with a mirror and the blush and highlighter have their own pan.

BLUSHER IN VELVET MELON (HIGH INTENSITY): The shade is a beautiful peachy melon shade which is really nicely pigmented The blush is a little hard when you touch it and you have that waxy, creamy gel texture which you have to melts with your finger warmth but it blends easily into the skin as well and is buildable but I think it enhances the texture of the skin a little bit once you start layering it but if you dap it on the skin it will work actually, don’t drag is the key here.

HIGHLIGHTER IN VELVET MELON (HIGH INTENSITY): The shade of the highlighter is really pretty and unique in my collection at least. It is a mix of champagne bronze with a rose gold touch to it, it’s just beautiful honestly and I think this is the shade every skin tone can use, for fair skin I think they can use it as a blush topper. The highlighter is more on the emollient gel type which blends smoothly without enhancing the texture of the skin what I love most bout this Kosas highlighter is that you can get the natural look or intense look out of it, depends on how much you applied.

I love to use my fingers for the application I think the tapping works the best for me, you can use a beauty blender once you dotted it on the areas you want it to be, that will work beautifully as well. I avoid using brushes personally as they can irritate the skin easily as compared to the blender and fingers. Both products sit beautifully on the skin and do not irritate the skin, they long really well on the skin 6-8 hours and they don’t feel heavy. I love how they look really natural and beautiful on the skin overall. If I have to choose one from these two, I think I will go with the highlighter actually but blush is no way bad, both products in the duo pact are beautiful, it’s just my personal preference. For dewy cheeks, one can mix them together to get the perfect glow.

SWATCHES

Overall I really love this Dewy Cheek Duo from Kosas and it’s definitely something that is simple yet functional. I really like this shade and now I have my eyes on the other shades. I think it’s a lovely product from Kosas and I recommend it to the people who are into clean makeup, looking for nice cream blush and highlighter, this is it. It retails for 34 dollars and honestly if you divide it by two, it’s a pretty decent price for what you are getting.
