Review: TonyMoly New Piglet Pink Collection 2019

Tonymoly came out with new year collection and this is a year of pig according to the Chinese calendar so they came out with the cute collection called Tonymoly Piglet Pink Collection which contains one new palette and two blushes which I am going to review today. I am going to start with the blushes

PACKAGING

This Piglet pink palette came in a beautiful pink and casing with the transparent lid on top and has rose gold base for eyeshadow pan. The packaging of the palette is pretty similar to the mac palette x 9 and these palettes from Tony moly also came in a 9 shadow pan. It’s a tiny yet compact, useful and travel friendly palette.

COLOR SELECTION

As the palette is called piglet pink, this palette contains some pink shadow which are very subtle and great for daily use. I personally loved the color scheme of tony moly palette, from base color to dark color is what I think every palette should need to have and this have it all including the glitter finish shadows which I also think are must have with the mattes.

FINISH

You get the nine shades in total from which three are totally matte and two are matte with a few tiny particles of glitters which does not show much on application. There are two satin to shimmer finish shadows and two are glittery finish and all of them are pretty on their own way.

PIGMENTATION AND FORMULA

The pigmentation of this Tonymoly palette is pretty good, its not as great as the moonshot one but its really good and I think its pretty good

SHADES

If you are a warm pig (1): It is a matte finish base color which is off white with the hint of yellow.
If you eat pig (2): It is a sheer light pink shade with the tiny gold shimmer particles.

If you are a brave pig (3): It’s a matte pink -coral shade which is not that pigmented but can be layered.

If you are cute Pig (4): It’s a beautiful rose gold shade with the pink base.
If you are a sparkling pig (5): It’s a gorgeous gold glittery shadow with not much of base color.
If you are an honest pig (6): It is a beautiful pink-beige champagne shadow which has a glittery finish.
If you are a kind pig (7): It’s a beautiful purple shade which has a shimmer to a satin finish.
If you love pig (8): It is a matte pink shade which Is nicely pigmented.
If you believe pig (9): It is a matte dark brown shade with the hint of pink glitter particles.

MY THOUGHTS

I personally love this palette for daily to glam look, it's overall a nice palette. I love all the shades but the glitter shades to apply with the glitter primer to make sure they don’t fall all over your face. My personal favorite shades are the no. 1, no. 5, no.6, no. 7 and 8. Even though all the shades of this palette are pretty good and I love the combination which goes well with the living coral ( pantone color of the year 2019). For the price tag and overall quality I will definitely recommend this palette and honestly, it is s cute and pretty but functional as well.

• Cute Piglet blusher gives soft but vivid color expression.
• This powder blusher covers up unwanted sebum naturally.
• Contains oil essence has good adhesion and lasts long with one touch.

PACKAGING

These piglet pink blusher shades came in a pink plastic packaging as the palette and have a transparent lid with the rose gold print on it. the blusher themselves have a cute pig imprinted on them.

COLOR SELECTION

This Tonymoly came out with the two blushes only and both of them are satin and are pink in shade. I do wish they at least came out with the 5-6 shades but again it’s just a limited collection.

FINISH

Both of them have the satin finish.

PIGMENTATION AND FORMULA

The pigmentation of these blushes is pretty good and they give sheer color with the brush but I have also applied them with the beauty blender and they applied pretty well and the pigmentation show very nicely. The formula seems a little dry but these applies pretty well and does have a little bit of fall out but they work because my last experience with the Tonymoly lace fabric collection (2018 collection) is not that great and they are not pigmented at all.

SHADES

01 blush piglet: It is a light tone pink with the cool tone shimmer in it, it has a satin finish.
02 shy piglet: I personally like this shade more than the shade no. 1 as it matches my skin tone well. It’s a dry rose shade with the tiny particles of pink shimmer, has a satin finish.

These tonymoly piglet pink blushes stays on for 6 hours and do not emphasis any pores. I personally like to use them both together but If I have to choose one I will definitely choose the shy piglet it’s a quite unique shade and suit well on my skin.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS ON THE TONYMOLY NEW PIGLET PINK COLLECTION

I, overall really enjoyed love this collection by Tonymoly, the packaging is super cute and the shades and quality of the piglet pink collection is pretty good as well. I love the eye palette a little bit more than the blush because I wish they have introduced more shades for the blushers but overall this collection is worth buying if you want a cute and budget-friendly product which actually works nicely.
