So A'PIEU is one of the road shop brands which makes really great products which are budget friendly and not only that they always consider good ingredients as a very important part of their products.

If I am not wrong last year they came out with the new foundation called Triple Wear foundation which was loved by many people. It was compared with the famous Estee Lauder double wear foundation.

These ingredients are not particularly of the shade sad but it’s the overall main ingredients used in this foundation. Overall the ingredient list seems pretty good but I wish that they should have taken out extra ingredients, the list is quite long. Find further details on Ingredients here.

How To Use It:

For this foundation it is really important that you should apply it a proper way or else you will end up getting hating it or will mess up easily. Make sure to always shake well before using it. Take a puff or brush whatever you prefer I use both. Take a one drop and thinly apply a layer all over the face and if you want more coverage you can keep on going in a thin layer but DON’T apply too much at once as it will not set well and can crack easily. I personally apply light strokes with the brush and then use the beauty blender which I think works best for most foundation and if I need more coverage I apply more in the same direction. If I need to cover specific areas I use the concealer brush with this foundation which works nicely. This Apieu foundation also covers the dark circles very well.

PACKAGING

First, the packaging does not seem cheap at all. It came in a sturdy frosted glass bottle with the black details. It also has a pump which is very important for liquid foundations. The packaging is 10/10 honestly. The pump squeezes out the right amount of product and works fine.

SHADE RANGE AND SIZE

This foundation came in five different shades which go from Korean shade no 13 to shade no 25 with the different undertones. You get 35g of product.

The Five shades in Triple Wear Foundation by A'PIEU are as following;

SHADE NO. 1 FROZEN: Same as the shade number 13.

SHADE NO. 2 LIGHT: For the people who use tone up in shade 21.

SHADE NO. 3 WARM IVORY: Shade 21 with warm undertones.

SHADE NO. 4 BEIGE: Shade 23 with the bright undertones.

SHADE NO. 5 SAND: Neutral/warm undertone in shade 23.

Shades I choose the last shade, shade number 5 which is called sand. It has more of pink undertone which I really don’t like as my skin have some strong yellow undertones.

MY SKIN TYPE

I have acne prone/sensitive skin and I used shade 23 to 25 I Korean shade and shade NC 25 to 30.

TEXTURE/CONSISTENCY AND FINISH

It is more on the liquidy side and feels really light-weight on the skin and does not feel heavy at all. It blends easily and the best way to apply is to use foundation brush first and then patting with puff or beauty blender. The Triple wear foundation gives a demi-matte finish. It gives more of matte finish ones it set into the skin which is on the powdery side. It does not feel powdery or dry on the skin and actually, when applying it this foundation feels pretty moisturizing.

COVERAGE AND LONGEVITY

A'PIEU Triple Wear Foundation has a medium to full coverage which is surely build-able. It is not totally transfer-proof so one has to set it with powder especially in summer and humid weather or if you are layering it. It starts to cling on the dry areas after 6-8 hours but it’s a problem with dry skin people. I think this can last for 9-12 for oily to normal skin type easily and it does not oxidize throughout the day. If not set it with powder it can crease around the smile lines and any wrinkle areas after 3-5 hours.

It does not seem to have pink/peachy undertone here but in real it does have.

OVERALL

Overall, if you have dry skin you need to moisturize before so it does not cling on to dry patches throughout the day. It Contains SPF20 PA++ which is a good thing and a bad thing at the same time as it does give a little bit flashback but yeah sun protection is more important even though it is not too high. It sits nicely on the skin, cover most of the imperfection with the matte finish which does not look cakey at all. A'PIEU Triple Wear Foundation feels really nice on the skin it does not clog any pores nor does that break me out. Does not oxidize throughout the day the only flaw about this foundation I can say is that it can be little patchy for dry skin and I just wish they came out with the more shades. You cannot say to this good foundation and when it only cost 12 to 11 dollars. I heard that it is very similar to the Estee Lauder double wear foundation so if you are looking for dupe, you can try this one.
