I am always looking for the primer who can hide my pores when i am wearing makeup, for that I mostly ignore the shimmer blushes as well as they enhance the large pores and texture of your skin. My skin type is acne prone which is pretty sensitive as well. Just like other people I have scars, textured skin and pores problem, even though my pores are a lot better right now. I have been trying many pore fading primers lately which includes the Lorac and J.one and Elf cosmetic primers which I will review in my upcoming posts.


Today i will be reviewing the Primer by the Pakistani brand called "Beautify By Amna" . I wasn't expecting much from this primer honestly but it really impress me overall.

MY THOUGHTS

Starting with the packaging, it is something that attracts me more towards this primer, no matter who saw it they all rave how amazing the packaging is. it came in transparent plastic tube which has a black and gold cheetah print on it. The cap is made of plastic which is in sleek gold color and to dispense the product there is nozzle on the tube which helps to control the excess product from coming out ans you get the 30 ml of product.

As it is a silicone based primer the texture is just like most silicone primer it feels very soft and velvelty when rubbing against the skin. The texture is pretty solid like a balm gel and little goes a long way.it starts to mattify the skin as soon as you apply but does not dry out the skin or feel weird in any way and it does blur out the pores and make the skin texture more smooth. The skin feels super smooth and soft after applying it. The primer is transparent in color

Consistency. it does not feels sticky , heavy or something that is clogging you pores. I am not sure if it does clog the pores or not but one hing is for sure that it does not break me out. The porfade primer does not have any particular scent to it which is great for the people who are sensitive to the scent. After applying it the oily keeps at bay for good 5-6 hours and the makeup overall lasts for 9-12 hours which is pretty great. the pores does starting to become noticeable after 5-6 but if you apply a little bit more on the concerned areas that can do way better.

I mostly apply a little bit more than pea size amount all over my face and then i talk a tiny but and concentrate more on the problem areas like scar and pores.I mostly like to apply my primers with the fingers but silicone puff does the same very well. I don't recommend to use beauty blender or any sponge or brushes because they tend to absorb more product just in the case of primers.
Overall it is a nice primer which holds the makeup together through out the day and it is more of a mattifying primer than the pore fading / blurring primer and i like it and will be using it more in summers because my oily skin needs that.
