review of Vegreen Nature Mucin Toner & Cica Serum

I hope you are doing great, I'm back with some new skincare gems especially for sensitive skin people and vegan beauty lovers. I have to say I like the minimal packaging and aesthetics of Vegreen. Today I am going to be reviewing the Vegreen Alcohol-free Nature Mucin toner and Fragrance-free Cica Serum. I have tried their mucin serum and daily moisture cream this summer and loved them so much, you can check out my review here, on my Instagram. Let's start with the brand introduction first.

VEGREEN

Abut Vegreen, Vegreen is a Korean skincare brand that is quite new but they are well known in the skincare community because of vegan, mild and effective products. They join the word Vegetable + green and made the brand name VEGREEN out of it. Their brand goal is to use clean and safe ingredients, use vegetables to make Eco-friendly products.

They use plant-based ingredients and no animal-containing ingredients in their products. As Sustainable environmental protection is a top priority for Vegreen they make sure that they deliver the best to their consumers by making sure that labels are easy to remove and aren’t sticky so you can recycle them easily. MY THOUGHTS

The Vegreen toner came in sturdy transparent plastic packaging with a hole stopper on top to dispense the toner. You get the 250ml of toner in the bottle which retails for 21 dollars but you can get it for 18 dollars for now as it is on sale. It does not have any kind of scent to it.

I would say this toner is not watery and have some density to it but it does not feel heavy on the skin and absorbs easily into the skin. The toner is transparent has no artificial color to it. It does not create an oily film on the skin. Once you start to blend it on the skin, it feels more like your lightweight hydrating toner. It does give a pack of hydration and moisture right after the application.

I have been using Vegreen Nature Mucin Toner lately quite a lot as this toner reminds me of my favorite etude soon Jung toner as it is mild and really helps in hydrating and calming the skin. I have been using it to layer it on my skin for 2-3 types to give my dull skin a life, also it works well as a mask pack. I have also noticed that it really helps in improving my skin barrier and making it look healthy with some firmness.

SODIUM HYALURONATE:
It helps in hydrating skin deeply and provides moisturizer to the skin instantly and protects the skin from external irritation.

MY THOUGHTS

This serum came in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle with the pump. I love how soothing the packaging and the color of the serum are. The serum cost 18 dollars and is on sale for 16 dollars on Vegreen official site. You get 50ml of product and again this serum does not have any scent to it.

The formulation of Vegreen Cica Serum is lovely, it is liquidy gel-like but once you start massaging it feels more like a mixture of serum with a hint of emulsion. It absorbs into the skin easily while you can feel the moisturizing barrier layer on your skin when you are applying which fades once it is absorbed leaving the skin moisturized and soothing. It absorbs easily into the skin leaving a semi dewy finish depends on how much you apply, dry skin may get the satin finish after the application which will fade after few minutes so make sure to apply your moisturizer to look the cica goodness. It really helps in soothing my skin and with my skin barrier overall.

Honestly, my skin was in the worst phase for the past 2 months as I was getting acne, my skin was dehydrated and my skin gets irritated with anything I try. And I think these two products really play a huge role in calming my irritated skin and improving my skin barrier.

OVERALL

Vegreen Nature Mucin Toner & Cica Serum

Honestly, I enjoy them both equally and I will highly suggest checking this Vegan Korean skincare brand as the products are affordable and they actually work really well for my sensitive skin even. Another big reason is that they actually care about the environment and trying their best to make a change. Personally, I cannot wait to see them coming out with cica cream and toner because I am sure they are going to be as great as the cica serum is. You can purchase Vegreen products from Vegreen official site.
